Disneyland's Grand Canyon~Primeval World

theme park recently closed for construction
of a new Star Wars attraction. Fans who miss
this great display can head to L.A. Zoo for
Dinosaurs: Unextinct. The new attraction
features 17 life-size animatronic creatures
visitors can pay an additional $5 to see.
Famous Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops and 15
other specimens educate and entertain
through October 31, 2016.
California didn't exist as a landform around
the time dinosaurs lived (65 million to 165
million years ago) but there are excellent
exhibits throughout the state allowing all
ages to experience dinosaurs. Head for San
Diego Natural History Museum, Natural
History Museum of Los Angeles County and
University of California Museum of
Paleontology to enjoy world-class dinosaur
displays. Wonders of Dinosaurs is a
commercial attraction with life-size dino
models, kids rides, games and merchandise.
It closes at Laguna Hills Mall on April 24
but is up and running at Redondo Beach's
