Ruby's Diner to vacate Seal Beach Pier
On December 10, 2012, Ruby's Diner notified
the City of Seal Beach that they are
vacating the Seal Beach Pier location as of
January 10, 2013. Ruby's has been a fixture
on the Seal Beach Pier for the past 25
years, but recently decided not to extend
their agreement with the City.
The City would like to wish Ruby's well in
their future endeavors and thank them for
serving the community for so many years. The
City welcomes the opportunity to partner
with a new establishment and will strive to
preserve the elements that make visiting the
pier a pleasing and desirable destination
spot for residents and visitors.
A search for a new restaurant is in
progress, and will begin in earnest
immediately after January 10th. For more
information please contact Assistant City
Manager Sean Crumby at (562) 431-2527 ext.
1317.

should start construction sometime this month.
