Just A Reminder That This Saturday April 22nd, 2006 There Are Going To Be Two Areas That Are Going To Have New Trees Planted. One Of Them Is In Front Of The Shipley Nature Center Parking Lot In Central Park Off Of Goldenwest Street And The Second Planting Is Going To Be In Front Of The Equestrian Center On Goldenwest Street In Which 35 New Trees Shall Be Planted. These Events Go From 8:30AM To 11:00AM. This Is In Honor Of

Arbor Day And Is Sponsored By Jean Nagy And The Huntington Beach Tree Society. Also The Huntington Beach Tree Society Won A Prestigious Award. That Was From The International Society Of Arborculture For Outstanding Urban Forestry In 2005. Congratulations!!!!

This Saturday Evening April 22nd, 2006 From 6:00PM To 11:00PM, KTLA Channel 5 The WB's Emmy Award Winning Weatherman Mark Kriski, Is Going To Be Hosting The Disco Saturday Night Radio Show On KBIG 104.3FM.

On Saturday April 29th, 2006 From 9:00AM To 2:00PM There Is Going To Be A 1st Annual Spring Festival At The Shipley Nature Center In Central Park. Free Admission. Educational Fun And Activities Include: 9:00AM A Continental Breakfast (A $5 Dollar Donation

Is Suggested), 9:00AM A California Native Plant Sale Begins And It Continues Until 2:00PM, At 10:30AM A Demonstration Gardens Dedication Honoring The Metropolitan Water District, At 11:00AM A Scout Plaque Dedication Honoring The Eagle Scouts, At 11:15AM A Diorama Dedication At The Interpretive Building, Then At: 11:30AM Music By The Fifth Wheel Bluegrass Band Which Goes Until 1:30PM, Also At 11:30AM A Recycling Program Demonstration By Rainbow Disposal And At 12:30PM A Habitat Tour. Then On Thursday May 4th, 2006 From 2:00PM To 4:00PM There Is Going To Be A Municipal Clerks Week Open House At The Huntington Beach City Clerk's Office On The Second Floor Of City Hall At 2000 Main Street. Come Take A Tour And Learn About The Wonderful Things That The City Clerk's Office Does For Our Community.

On Friday May 12th, 2006 At The Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort In Huntington Beach There Is Going To Be A Women Of Distinction Luncheon Honoring Erin Runnion And Several Other Citizens. This Is Sponsored By The Soroptimist International Of Huntington Beach. The Event Takes Place From 11:00AM To 1:00PM. Tickets Cost $50 Dollars Per Person.

I Also Would Like To Mention That The Huntington Beach Art Center Won An Award Known As The Outstanding Art Organization Of The Year For 2005 From The Arts Orange County Arts Council For Their 10 Years In Business. Congratulations!!!!
