Costco is scheduled for its Grand Opening at
Bella Terra on Wednesday, May 2 at 8:00 AM.
We anticipate a large amount of traffic
entering the site from the 405 freeway,
Center Avenue and Edinger Avenue. Residents
should anticipate heavy traffic, display
patience and take extra caution driving in
the area from 8:00AM to 12:00PM. The CHP has
been notified of possible congestion on the
405 at Beach Blvd.
There are no new Huntington Beach Public
Works Items to mention.
However in Long Beach The 405 at The 7th
Street Bridge reopens Tomorrow at 5AM. Here

THE FABULOUS NOMADS are one of Orange
County's oldest surf bands who were
instrumental in keepin surf music alive
during the 80's until its complete
resurrection in the 90's. They prestigious
group are synonymous with waves, sunshine
and fun and have been supporting our Surfin'
Sundays Concert program since its inception
16 years ago.
LOS TORNADOS consists of our old pal Rich
Knight formerly of The Royaltones combined
with The Torquays drummer Duff Paulsen and a
dynamite stand up bass player new to the
museum scene. Special guests also being
featured are The Lively Ones guitarist John
Benton and Saxophonist Jim Frias formerly
with The Chantays both legends in their own
right.

The City Of Redondo Beach has a 120th
Birthday Celebration which is being hosted
by the City of Redondo Beach, the Redondo
Beach Historical Commission, the Redondo
Beach Historical Society and members of the
public! Festivities will begin around 11:30
with a display of antique cars, hot dogs and
sausages on the grill, birthday cake and ice
cream. Parking is in the two lots flanking
the north and south sides of Heritage Court
or on the street at 302 Flagler Lane.
