Newport Beach Beaches:

There's no beach on the inland side of Main Street where you'll find Balboa Fun Zone, Balboa Pavilion and the Newport Balboa Ferry. But just walk across busy Balboa Blvd. at the stoplight and within a block you'll be at one of the most fun beaches in all of Newport Beach.

If you can imagine the Mayberry of beaches, this is it!

With an old fashioned gazebo that dons a fresh coat of white paint, a towering American flag, green lawns, picnic tables, and colorful entry to Balboa Pier, the beaches to the left and right of the pier are tourist attractions for visitors seeking a fun day. Restrooms, outdoor showers for rinsing, a kids playground right on the sand, and the pier are all attractions at this great, family beach with a Ruby's Diner serving delicious ice cream, malts, shakes and hamburgers from its pier location.
