Ocean Beach, or "OB" is not only known throughout San Diego County but is also famous around the world. It's beach appeal is apparent throughout the year, spring, summer, winter & fall.

From the really unique pier that you can see from the top of a hill as you drive down toward the beach, hitting the brakes and arriving at a funky shopping area, to the beaches that include sunbathing, surfing, volleyball, and tons of sunbathers, OB is unarguably a happening place.

The Ocean Beach Dog Beach is a huge draw for pet owners who can bring the critters and let them run free. Don't be surprised when you visit and see all the pets!

If you love beaches, OB is a must visit. Other San Diego beaches include Pacific Beach, Mission Beach and the La Jolla beaches.

But most people like to hang out closer to the pier, which features free pier fishing, a cafe with snacks, and great strolls for tourists and locals to enjoy.
