Claremont has become a destination in its own right with lots of great
eateries and entertainment, including the
free summer concerts in the park. During the summer months you can
come out in the evening to enjoy rock, blues, jazz and other contemporary music
genres performed by tribute and cover bands.
In recent years there has been a beer & music festival which then became a beer walk. It has been held in late June so you might want to keep an eye open for this event produced by the Claremont Village Marketing Group.
Claremont held a restaurant week, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, but it did not take place in 2016 so future dates would depend on the chamber's plans.
As of this posting there are half a dozen hotels in the Claremont area and a destination marketing branch of the Claremont Chamber of Commerce with its main marketing tool a stand-alone website.
