Greenfield was once known as the broccoli capital of California and celebrated its fame with an annual broccoli festival. Today you may find broccoli but you'll see wine grapes and plenty of other crops that give the small city the much deserved name of Greenfield. The city now celebrates with an annual harvest festival each fall.
Located in Monterey County, Greenfield is considered part of the fertile
Salinas Valley, which provides some of the finest growing weather in the
world.
