San Miguel is home to a California Mission

The town of San Miguel is home to Mission San Miguel one of California's most beautiful missions, thanks to the grounds that grace this survivor. We call it a survivor because it remains even after a devastating earthquake damaged the structure and forced closure for several years.

The mission is the focal point to visits off the I-101 Highway in San Luis Obispo County, California. But there's a small town that surrounds the mission with homes, some new construction, and a farmer's market held each week.

Located a mere 10 miles north of Paso Robles in California's Central Coast Wine Country, San Miguel is destined to grow. It has plenty of land to expand and great neighbors such as Atascadero, and the nearby Lake Nacimiento.

When passing by San Miguel, be sure to drop by and visit the mission. The grounds include an historic cemetery. Located east of Camp Roberts and the Pacific Ocean, San Miguel Mission is open to the public.
