Bundle up and bring the kids for one of the most festive holiday experiences of the season when this Magical - Musical event takes to the streets of Auburn, delighting all ages. Holiday themed entertainment includes festive costumes, bands, and of course, Santa Claus! The parade officially begins at Cherry Ave. and Lincoln Way in Auburn. The route to Gold Country Fairgrounds on High Street where the parade ends is just over five blocks or half a mile.
Auburn's Festival of Lights Parade each year picks a festive holiday theme. The event launches at the upper end of Lincoln Way and proceeds down to the Gold Country Fairgrounds Upper Parking Lot.
Staging occurs in the streets of Downtown, Lincoln Way and Borland Ave. The Parade completes at the Upper Parking Lot at the Fairgrounds. There the entries can disembark their passengers for pickup.
Signing up to be in the parade is quite affordable as of this posting. Categories of entrants include:
Type of Entry Antique Vehicle, Walking Group, Fire Truck, Horse Group, Vehicle/Float, Animal Group, School Band, High School, Middle School, Elementary. Categories: Organization/Club, Individual, Business, School, Church, or other.
