BLUE JAY: There's nothing like a parade! The 42nd Annual Blue Jay Christmas Parade in downtown Blue Jay! The streets close off at 1 p.m. and the parade kicks off at 2 p.m. Expect floats, festive red costumes, possibly some marching green "elves," marching band(s), Santa Claus, classic cars, community groups and the spirit of Christmas throughout the crowds. This time of year there could even be snow -- who knows?

Highway 189 closes at 1 p.m. and reopens at 3 p.m. from Daley Canyon Road to North Bay Road in front of the Blue Jay Theater.

If the parade is cancelled due to weather, it is posted at bluejayparade.com and will not be rescheduled.
