Parade route: The parade route will start at 9th Street, turn left on Linden Avenue, continue up Linden Avenue, U turn at the corner of Linden and Carpinteria Avenue, and turn on to 6th Street to end at Parking Lot #1

Rules of the Road (Participation in Parade)
Build your float, sew your outfit, or otherwise prepare your entry for the big day!
Pre-registration is required and walk-ups are not permitted.
Parents please park and walk your children to check-in.
There is absolutely NO stopping or performing during the parade. When you stop it backs up all other entries. The whole parade is your performance so work it!

Also: Carpinteria Lions Club will have the Festival of Trees at The Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center open all day.

If you're a fan of Santa Claus, he is making a special appearance in the parade again this year during a fun-filled community spirit event that brings out the best people and the happiest season--Christmas! Community bands, youth groups, and Santa roaring in are few highlights of the city sponsored event.

Dance performances take place immediately following the parade at the Seal Fountain. The City will leave three blocks closed to traffic after the parade to allow visitors to shop for holiday gifts at businesses planning to stay open late and participate in the festivities. There will be lots of family fun and special activities taking place.
