Annual Winterfest Light Parade starts on Mill Street. Parade of Lights is a free, home-style parade with community spirit abundant. The parade is part of an entire evening of celebrating with a blazing Bonfire, Vendor Booths, the Annual Tree Lighting, visit with Santa and a Fireworks Spectacular!
PARADE OF LIGHTS is sponsored by the Colfax Chamber or Commerce.
This year's event will include, but is not limited to:
Craft & Vendor Fair, Food Trucks, Holiday Shopping, Holiday Performances,
Santa's Village (Including photos with Santa), Tree Lighting, Parade of
Lights, Caroling, Live Nativity, and a Fireworks Spectacular!!
(Please note: Fireworks are planned, but are subject to cancellation, due to
weather, at any time)

Winterfest Timeline
9 am - N. & S. Main, & Railroad Street Closure for Vendor Set Up
12pm-Winterfest Street Fair & Activities with Art, Craft, and Food Vendors
on N. & S. Main St & Railroad St.
12pm-8pm - Ride the Train - Take a ride on the trackless train- Boarding at
99 Railroad St
3pm-6pm- Caboose will be open for Tours
3:45pm -Flag Burning Ceremony hosted by the American Legion Colfax Post #192
- at the Burn Barrel on Railroad St
4:45pm Tree Lighting with the Mayor
4:45 pm - City Councilmember Kim Douglass will be announcing the winner of
the Window Painting Contest
6:15pm - Parade Formation at E. Oak St & S. Auburn St
7pm- Winterfest Light Parade sponsored by the Colfax Lions Club
After the Light Parade - Winterfest Fireworks Display, by J&M Designs- start
between 7:40pm-7:50pm
At the Sierra Vista Community Center
9 am - Coat Giveaway - Sponsored by the Gold Country Lioness
9 am- 12 pm - Christmas Project - Sponsored by the Soroptimist International
of Colfax
4pm-6:30pm - 33rd Annual Old Fashioned Soup Kitchen Sponsored by the Soroptimist International of Colfax
The Friends of the Colfax Library present Santa at the Colfax Theatre
12pm-6pm-Free picture with Santa. Free books and gifts while supplies last.
3pm- Story Time with Mrs. Claus and the Elf's at the Colfax Theatre
3pm-5pm -Group Theatre youth, free-roaming the
streets.
8pm - The Colfax Theatre will show the movie Elf after the fireworks.
