Corner of Clementine Street and Center Street Promenade. Ring in the holidays with a very special tree lighting celebration. Guests will enjoy a variety of holiday happenings, including dog costume contest, holiday crafts, unique shopping, pictures with Santa, and the tree lighting at the steps of City Hall. Join the Nutcracker Holiday Committee, the City of Anaheim, the Downtown Anaheim Association, and the Anaheim Community Foundation for holiday entertainment food, and fun!

Between 5,000 & 10,000 people show up for this event! The tree lighting ceremony will feature lighting of the tree, as well as performances by Sean Oliu, the Anaheim Ballet, Santa and Mrs. Claus, and the combined choirs of the Anaheim Union High School District.

Here are some tried and true helpful hints to make your Tree Lighting and Holiday Village experience more delightful:

• Bring mittens and boots for our free snow play area.
• Bring a camera. You will want to keep these memories!
• Bring cash for shopping, face painting and our international food frenzy.
• There is an ATM located on the southwest corner of CSP and Lemon.
• Come hungry - there are tons of tasty food.

For those who love arts, entertainment and culture in Anaheim, be sure to visit the annual Oktoberfest in September and October and Halloween.

There's also a delightful winter Anaheim ballet production of The Nutcracker, or when summer rolls around check out free summer concerts in public parks. A local favorite is the annual Greek Festival, and Disneyland's Halloween.
