Join a special community event, Holiday at the Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park. Holiday themed activities, face painting, crafts, holiday shopping, food and beverage sales offer an evening of entertainment food, and Santa Claus! Tree lighting ceremony with Santa and photos with Santa afterward. In addition to these festive happenings, an outdoor viewing of a featured film. Holiday stories also, plus entertainment, crafts, food, and beverage sales.

The Annual Holiday Tree Lighting This traditional event begins with the arrival of Santa by fire Engine. Families are invited to enjoy a delightful Holiday program, concluding with Mayor Hall lighting the Holiday Tree. They usually offer free coffee & hot cider, tasty cookies. Sponsored by The Rotary of Carlsbad and numerous others local businesses.

Other fun events include Carlsbad Eggstravaganza at Easter time and a full schedule of summer concerts.
