Join the Mayor and City Council for the Cerritos Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration. Invite friends and families to gather at the Civic Center for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration. Holiday Community Caroling and music, Santa's arrival on a fire truck, and the Mayor's welcome are a few highlights to an invigorating evening outdoors to herald the holiday season.

As Santa scoots off to his Santa Chair to meet girls and boys, pose for photos and take note of children's wishes, kids crafts are usually offered as an extra activity to keep youngsters entertained and busy.

Look for the possibilities that choirs, youth groups and Cerritos Recreation Class students may perform during the ceremony.

Other fun community events held throughout the seasons include the summer concerts and Easter Egg Hunt and Halloween celebrations.
