The Queen Mary Annual Tree celebrates the season with views of the entire Long Beach skyline that are especially magic when the lights of the tree begin to sparkle each evening as the sun goes down over Rainbow Harbor.
One of the biggest highlights of the year is the tree lighting ceremony. Since 1993 the Long Beach mayor and public have visited and helped light the holiday tree at Queen Mary in a family-friendly event.
The Queen Mary tree and Victorian Village is on view daily through Christmas and Stacks, the ship's signature gift shop, will remain open until 8 p.m. every night in December. Restaurants will feature holiday menus and themed drink specials.
Dining reservations are recommended, especially for Christmas. A week after Dec. 25, the ship is decked out for one of the biggest parties in Southern California. New Year's Eve on the The Queen Mary is an equally important and festive tradition not to be missed!
Other events to celebrate Long Beach's seasons include the Original Lobster Festival, Long Beach Grand Prix, and Naples Christmas Boat Parade.
