 Santa Arrives, then the Tree lights up at 7 p.m. The annual event features the historic downtown's beauty on display. Visitors can stick around and dine at the great local restaurants. A day after the tree is lit (usually on Friday night) the Redding Downtown Christmas Parade takes place. Oh what fun it is to see the decorated vehicles, kids and community organizations participate in this event!

Come early to tour Kool April Nites’ Classic Christmas Car Display 5-7 p.m. on the 1500 block of Market Street in downtown Redding.
