Annual Vallejo Holiday Tree Lighting

This once a year special event is taking place at famous Children's Wonderland park. It's a FREE event for the community to come and enjoy Santa's Workshop open for our little elves to build arts and crafts. The park is open for kids to play.

Help ring in the holiday season with an evening filled with cheer! You will enjoy festive sounds of the season in the vibrantly decorated Children's Wonderland Park. Children can write a letter to Santa, enjoy all of the playgrounds, decorate cookies, and make holiday crafts and hot cocoa. And this evening wouldn't be complete without the traditional lighting of the Christmas tree by St. Nicholas himself! Don't miss this free celebration and beloved tradition.

Carolers, marching bands, train rides, holiday market, international food court, the Red Queen coming out of the Rabbit Hole with a host of creatures.

Mad Hatter Parade begins at 4:30 p.m. on Georgia Street from Sonoma to Santa Clara in the historic downtown

Tree Lighting 6 p.m.

Lighted boat parade on the waterfront begins around 6:30 p.m. visible from the waterfront Vallejo Marina

 Acknowledged as California's most whimsical holiday event and as a top ten holiday attraction in Northern California. There will be a Jurassic Robotic Park that will have the Giant Mechanical Squid, Fire Shooting Rhinos and Dinosaurs, a giant Victorian Ship and so much more.

Burning man fire shooting contraptions and whimsical art cars along with the California Maritime Cadets highlight this popular parade Downtown Festival of train and whimsical Alice in Wonderland rides, foods from around the world, art, music and Mad Hatter and Wonderland costumed characters in Unity Square by the Waterfront. The park will be lighted up for playing. Holiday caroling, reading of The Night before Christmas by Santa and Mrs. Claus and art and crafts for Santa's helpers. This event is Free. Hot chocolate and snacks are sold at the event as an option.
