Rock hits of the 80s and beyond
(PVRPD) in conjunction with the City of Camarillo presents the Summer Concert Series. Admission to concerts is free — seating is on the lawn with first-come, first-serve basis — bring low folding chairs, blankets and a picnic dinner to enjoy during the concerts. Food trucks offer tasty options. No chairs on the grass to reserve spots before 8 a.m. the day of the concert. The District conducted a community survey to find out what music genres were most in demand, and the results were: Rock & Roll, Pop, Country and Rhythm & Blues, reflected in the performance line-up.
Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District event manager for the Summer Concert Series said that after a challenging year, the concerts offer an amazing opportunity to "unite our community, to celebrate, relax and enjoy."
