La Puente (California)   Concerts in the Park. Come out to the park to listen to tribute bands, ethnic such as mariachi, salsa and Latin jazz. Bring your chairs to sit one, blankets to relax on, and your dancing feet.

For street food and great entertainment show up on Friday nights for La Puente Live, a collaborative effort between the City of La Puente and TccEvent to bring an Open Air Certified Farmers Market to the city of La Puente.  There aren't many such markets in California offering the quality of bands and full-on concerts like this. You'll generally find these acts performing in city parks concerts series and in private venues.

The public is invited to Los Angeles County Parks After Dark (PAD) concerts held in many parks throughout Los Angeles County, including 4 County Parks in the City of La Puente. With over 85% of the population of Hispanic or Latino of any race (according to demographics) the summer concert bands reflect cultural preferences for Latin music but also include genres ranging from rock to pop to blues, as well.

La Puente also hosts an annual Halloween fun run and costume contest you won't want to miss, plus a tree lighting ceremony and Christmas parade!
