James Intveld  is among the California born & bred musicians, who grew up listening to
the tunes of Elvis, Hank Williams, Sr. and Dean Martin. Born in 1959, Intveld "cut his teeth" on rockabilly, one of the first styles of rock and roll music dating to the early 1950s. It blends the sound of American folk and Western musical styles, such as country and bluegrass, with rhythm and blues.

His successful career as a singer, composer, actor and director frequently brings him back "home" from Music City (Nashville) where he now resides. Even though it has been 60 years since rockabilly was born, new generations have embraced the sound and icons of the era such as slicked back hair, 1957 Chevys and two-toned black & white sneakers.

The Ozzie & Harriett Show which appeared in living rooms throughout America introduced cool cardigans and Ricky Nelson singing rockabilly songs. The connection runs deep for James Intveld, whose brother, Rick Intveld, performed in the Ricky Nelson Band and was killed in the fiery plane crash with Nelson on their way to Dallas in December 1985.

James Intveld's smooth voice, handsome looks and incredible talents are a real tribute connecting  rockabilly's past for huge crowds and growing generations of fans just learning about the  "Made in America" music that other countries clamor to experience.  Intveld's tours often include performances in European countries -- Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany and Italy.
