We are back on stage with you in the audience - join us!
We are excited to perform on the auditorium stage again this summer in front of a live audience.  Main Auditorium, Sacramento City College. Performances July 8 - 24, 2022. All are invited to audition for the 2022 season of the Sacramento Shakespeare Festival, back on stage and in-person on the main auditorium stage with a live audience.

“Did my heart love till now?”
Two young people meet by chance and fall instantly in love. But their families are bitter enemies, and in order to be together the two lovers must be prepared to risk everything. Set in a city torn apart by feuds, Romeo and Juliet is a dazzling combination of passion and hatred and tragedy.

Performance Dates: July 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22 & 23 (in repertory with The As You Like It Staged Reading)
Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays: Performance at 7:30pm

Another As You Like It Reunion Staged Reading

In a fully staged reading, this original work is based on Shakespeare's pastoral comedy, As You Like It. The cast of this play, still alive after four hundred years, moves into an abandoned Shakespeare theatre for an evening of take-out and debate.

Performance Dates: Sundays July 10, 17 & 24 at 2:00 pm; Wednesday, July 13 at 7:30 pm (in repertory with Romeo & Juliet)
