4th of July Parade

July 4, 2024, 9 a.m.

Route: Downtown Lincoln at 5th & F Streets - The parade usually starts at  A & 5th Streets; heads West on 5th; heads north / turns right on F Street; 1 block to 6th Street; heads East / turns right, ending at 6th & D Streets.

Presented by the Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce, the annual parade includes marching bands, floats, drill teams and patriotism like you've never seen. It makes Lincoln proud each year to present such an outstanding event.

July 4 Celebration Schedule

• 7-10 a.m. Pancake Breakfast $12, $7 kids
• 9 a.m. Hometown Parade - East Avenue & McBean Park Drive
• 12 p.m. John Hofman Memorial Horseshoe Tournament
• 12-5 p.m. McBean Pool open. $5, $3 youth, Free age 3 & under
  2-9 p.m. Food Trucks & Vendor Booths open
  3-7:30 p.m. Free Kids Zone, Mechanical Bulls, Inflatables
  3-9:30 p.m.  Concerts at Gazebo, McBean Park seating is first come first serve
  6:05 p.m. Lincoln Potters VS West Coast Kings at McBean Stadium
  9:30-10 p.m. Fireworks The fun continues over at McBean Park with vendor booths, food, live bands, games and more

Lincoln 4th of July Celebration at McBean Memorial Park kicks off with pancakes, a parade starting at 9 a.m., followed by a horseshoe tournament at the McBean Park Horseshoe Pits at noon.  Lincoln Potters vs. Bay Area Admirals baseball game. Fireworks are expected after the baseball game, around 9:30 p.m. 

Fireworks

The 20 minute fireworks show begins around 9:30 p.m. Thousands come to see the display, a fitting tribute and end to a a perfect day in Lincoln.

One of the most grassroots fundraisers, the community sustains this event with donations and sponsorships. The annual fireworks spectacular costs about $1,000 per minute! The fireworks show is about 20 minutes in duration which equals about $20,000 just for the fireworks display!
