A Bridgeport Covered Bridge 150th anniversary and annual Spring Festival are being hosted by The South Yuba River Park Association and California State Parks.

On Friday local schools will visit the Park as part of their California history classes.

Saturday is a day filled with tours and events

Sunday, April 27, 2012, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday features include food, wagon rides, music, pioneer games, barn tours, gold panning and a return of the first owners of the property during a theatrical production by local actors.

The South Yuba River Park Association and California State Parks are jointly hosting this Birthday Party. Bridgeport is just west of Grass Valley and is 8 miles north of Penn Valley on Pleasant Valley road where it crosses the South Yuba River.
