ARNOLD: Sierra Nevada Arts & Crafts Festival, July 6 & 7, 2013. 41st Annual Independence Day weekend event takes place in the beautiful mountain resort town of Arnold on Highway 4 (Ebbetts Pass.) Situated amongst the pines and redwoods at the 4000' elevation, the Festival features over 65 booths of fine crafts, art, and gourmet foods to sample - all made by the artists themselves. The annual Ebbetts Pass Independence Day Parade will begin at 10am on Saturday and it runs adjacent to the Festival. The Ebbett' s Pass Lion' s Club serves an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 7:30am - 11am both days. Continuous shows of live country/swing music by the Stardust Cowboys from Sacramento and magician ‘Ken Garr' from Santa Rosa will perform both days. There' s also face painting for the kids - and adult kids! The Ebbett' s Pass Volunteer Fire Dptm. serves local Calaveras County beers, along with a variety of home-made food booths, kettlekorn, and baked goodies are offered. The Festival is held on the park-like grounds of Bristols Ranch House Café right on Highway 4 in downtown Arnold from 10am - 5pm both days.
