GOLD COUNTRY - LAKE TAHOE: Cycle The Sierra, June 21-25, 2014 Annual cycling event that takes place in the Sierra Nevada mountains of Northern California. Fully supported, five day journey takes Riders 300 Miles through breathtaking country, beneath granite peaks, through evergreen forests, into alpine hot springs, to iconic locations like Lake Tahoe, over the 4th highest bridge in the US, to the site where gold was discovered starting the California Gold Rush, and through numerous unique and historical communities along the way.
Each day Ride is 50-70 miles. Camp together under the stars. Camps feature a beer garden, stage with live music, delicious food, massage therapists, yoga sessions, bike mechanics and 300 other cyclists letting loose on vacation from all over the US. cyclethesierra
