Whether catching a wave with a furry friend or seeking fun on the beach with friends and family, this year's attendees can expect a fun-filled day in a new location in Imperial Beach, adjacent to the pier. Up to 40 surf dogs and thousands of spectators from across the U.S. are expected to attend.

Unleashed by Petco is a community oriented pet specialty retailer working with and supporting the Petco Foundation, an independent nonprofit organization, which has raised more than $125 million since it was created in 1999 to help promote and improve the welfare of companion animals. In conjunction with the Petco Foundation and its partners, we host regular in-store adoption events and help find homes for thousands of animals every year.

In partnership with the Surf City Surf Dog event and held at Pacific City, the NY Dog Film Festival will feature double header with two 70 minutes showings and a 20 minute intermission, a fun flick outside with your favorite people and pups! Those make donations to charity partner will receive VIP Seating and treats by Top Dog Barkery. Partial proceeds from tickets will benefit OC Shelter Partners.

HWAC Doggie Surf Clinics at Dog Beach Del Mar help you to teach your dog to surf like a pro! Lessons will have you and your dog in the water with a member of the SoCal Surf Dogs Club, learning basic and advanced techniques from experienced, passionate dog surfers! Start with GromMutt class to introduce your dog to the water, or jump right into a Dog Surf Lesson.
