The Port of Los Angeles in partnership with the Rotary Club will host the Earth Day Chalkfest at Wilmington Waterfront Park. This free event will feature a chalk art festival and do-it-yourself Earth Day-themed plant crafts. Bring your I.D. with a City of L.A. address to receive a free tree while supplies last.

Take action in your local environment for Earth Day!

Learn about the impact of microplastics and help clean  Cabrillo Beach, Registration: 9-11:30 a.m. The  zero waste event requests participants to bring your own gloves, trash buckets and re-usable water bottle! Free; open to all ages.

Interactive activities on the beach including a sand crab station, a nurdle and microplastic challenge with prizes, a beach wrack station,  bird watching station and grunion hatching on the hour.

Kayak Kleanup invites you to Bring Your Own Boat (BYOB) and life vest for  kayak kleanup. Register: programs@cmaqua.org
