Be green and Bike to the event! The Ventura Earth Day Eco Fest will provide plenty of secure bicycle parking locations, including a free Bike Valet. The award-winning Ventura Earth Day Eco Fest brings fun, entertainment, children's activities, exhibitors, and education to Plaza Park. Each year this successful community event is attended by over 5000 people and 80 exhibitors. Come join us celebrate our environment at a beautiful Plaza Park. Amazing Food, A Green Auto Expo, Over 6,000 community members, Bike Valet Ride your bike to the Eco Fest on Earthday! A full-time bike valet will be available on site.

The free event brings the community together to think green, connect with like-minded organizations and businesses in a day filled with hands-on activities, entertainment and learning experiences for the whole family. There will be plenty of parking or, better yet, ride your bike and check it with the Bike Valet. Do, Make, Play in Ventura on Earth Day! The community is coming together to create experiential fun and learning at this year's Earth Day Eco Fest. Festival sponsors provide entertainment ranging from a Rock Wall to surf lessons on the sand. Hands-on activities for kids include a petting zoo and a Creation Station where youth can fabricate cool and useful items from recycled materials.
The Entertainment Stage overflows with dance and music. Visionary Dance Arts and ethnic dance troupes The festival will be pulling some talent from LA, such as songwriter, Matt Ellis as well as multi-instrumentalist, Nick Luca, as well as some beloved local music. Rockabilly Hall of Famer and Ventura legend, Ron Hargrave will be making magic on the ukulele, D.on Darox and the Melody Joy Bakers will bring some dirty gypsy blues, and La Vonettes will light up the stage with their sixties girl band bouffant fun. Over 100 exhibitors will offer ways to think and go green. Showcasing the products and programs of local businesses and community groups helps our visitors find ways that they can help protect our environment, says festival chairperson. Exhibitor booths are still available for organizations and businesses to share their green and sustainable messages with a public that cares.
The festival is hosted by the Ventura Charter School of Arts and
Global Education in cooperation with the City of Ventura. Profits from the
day-long event go toward funding enrichment programs for kindergarten through
eighth-grade students at the tuition-free public school. For more information
