Stroll along a spooktacular Trick-or-Treat Trail sponsored by local businesses, wear your favorite costume, learn about creepy-crawly critters in the Spooky Science Lab and watch the Animal Pumpkin Stomp & Chomp!

Kids are invited to come in costume and trick or treat at participating businesses in Old Town and Downtown Eureka.

 

Eureka Old Town Great Pumpkin Hunt

October 26-31, 2024, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Families can hunt for decorated pumpkins with unique names displayed in Downtown and Old Town windows. Pick up a participating form at the Eureka Visitor Center on 108 F Street and search for the pumpkins. Once you have located 20 and have voted for your favorite pumpkin return the form to the Visitors Center where kids can collect a treat.

Geared toward ages 12 years and younger. The Fortuna Library is participating in this year's downtown Trick or Treat walk! Ages 12 years and under should be in costume and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate.

Fortuna GRAVE MATTERS & UNTIMELY DEPARTURES

Catch spellbinding stories of both the obscure and the infamous buried in Fortuna’s cemeteries. Tours start at 1:30 p.m. with the last tour leaving at 5:30 p.m. (times may vary). Held the Sunday before Halloween in October. The above information is courtesy of the Fortuna Chamber of Commerce.
