Grass Valley Downtown Association supports and promotes local commerce, while making the downtown a friendly place to visit.

Halloween includes a fun, safe event downtown for youngsters who can trick or treat in the daylight hours. It's perfect for little goblins and ghosts.

Downtown is open to shop and take photos with all the Halloween decorations and downtown murals, and displays. Shop in costume! Local Restaurants feature seasonal goodies.

Offered two times a year, these are free all-day events geared toward families and introduces many young children in our community to their first-ever arts experience. Healthy art-based activities typically include face painting, crafts, and a balloon artist and other fun entertainment.

Bear Yuba Land Trust invites you to its annual Halloween event: Trail or Treat! They're calling all ghosts and ghouls to take a wicked walk on this night of fright full of costume contests, candy, and spooktacular surprises!

Costume Contest

  • Best costume contest for kids
  • Winners will be announced on social media
  • Photo booth to capture all the boo-tiful costumes

This is a family-friendly event, all ages are welcome. This event is FREE, but they request RSVP to have an idea of how many people are attending.
