Held in the park plaza behind the Rec Center, prepare for Halloween fun and have a truly Spooktacular good time with carnival games 10 cents each, Bingo fundraiser 25 cents per card or 5 cards for $1 and Cake Walk $1 per entry. Snack bar has nachos, hot dogs and other foods for sale.

Costume Contest

All costume contest participants win 10 free game tickets and a Halloween Treat bag. Awards to 1st, 2nd & 3rd in all categories

Irwindale Jack O' Lantern Walk

Bring your family to enjoy a free community event. Take a short stroll through the 2nd annual Jack O' Lantern Walk featuring lighted pumpkins carved by the Irwindale community members. Residents are invited to show off their very own carved creations for this event with free pumpkins provided on or before Oct. 20, and delivered to Dan Diaz Rec Center by October 30, 2023.

Irwindale Trunk or Treat

Includes a new Jack-O'-Lantern Walk with lit decorated pumpkins carved by community member. Safe and fun way for families and children to enjoy Halloween. All vehicle trunkers must register with the city to bring their car and distribute candy.  All cars and trucks are welcome and must complete registration form prior to the event. Vehicle owners do NOT need to come in costume (although strongly encouraged), however, ALL vehicles MUST be decorated. First, Second and Third Place awards will be awarded, as well as a People's Choice award

Trunk or Treaters spend the evening going from trunk to trunk, collecting candy from vehicle owners who have decorated their vehicles to serve as the backdrop for this family friendly event. Trunkers are asked to decorate their trunk, tailgate or hatchback and provide candy for the treaters. The Irwindale Recreation's Kidzone program will be hosting a Snack Bar fundraiser near the check in booth. 

All participants must provide their OWN candy for distribution, the City of Irwindale will NOT provide candy
Please be courteous to your trunk neighbors and keep your decorations confined to your parking space

Pumpkin Decorating Contest
