Costume contest at the corner of Norwalk Boulevard and Mapledale Street beginning at 9:15 a.m. at Waite Middle School field. Pre-registration is not required. Businesses, service organizations, and clubs are encouraged to participate in this free

Location: Norwalk Blvd. Everyone is invited to join us at this community event! Marching bands from throughout the southland are expected to perform alongside ghosts and goblins of all kinds in this year’s Halloween Parade. Residents are encouraged to participate by dressing up in their favorite Halloween costume and marching in the parade.

Norwalk Pumpkin Float

October 18, 2024, 6-8 p.m.

Norwalk Aquatic Pavilion

$14, norwalk.org Pre-registration not required but recommended

Try out the city's  Pumpkin Float this fall! Carve a design into a pumpkin and watch it glow while it floats over the pool water. It's a perfect seasonal photo opportunity! Registration includes pumpkin and supplies. Event does not include recreational swim. Event is all ages, but children ages 13 and under require parent supervision.

Norwalk Halloween Festival

October 27, 2023, 6-9 p.m.

3 locations for amazing fun! Free - all ages, norwalk.org

  • Hermosillo Park, 11959 162nd Street
  • Lakeside Park, 11620 Studebaker Road in conjunction with Trinity Lutheran Halloween Maze
  • Zimmerman Park, 13031 Shoemaker Avenue

It's a night of ghouls, goodies and games with activities that include:

  • Costume Contest
  • Pumpkin Painting
  • Halloween themed games
  • Arts N Crafts
  • Lots of treats

Don't miss the annual Halloween Festival which provides a safe alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating for children and promotes the safe celebration of Halloween.

If you love Norwalk because of its focus on community, you'll not want to miss other city events such as the Norwalk Concerts at City Hall during the summer, and the Easter Egg Hunt in the spring.
