Pirates of Emerson
Seesawz Circus
Celebrate the 34th year of this pirate-infested, salty event in 2024.
Set in the 15th century when pirates reigned supreme, the attraction takes place on five acres of space and includes special effects, robotics, animation and interaction (mixed with obligatory screams). One of the Bay Area's favorite haunts, Pirates of Emerson returns each year with new costumes, actors, and shows to scare the socks of you. Each year the pirate theme is carried out through decor and some of the scariest pirates you've ever seen hiding in the shadows.
Pirates of Emerson has partnered with many community organizations to make the attraction a win-win for the local economy, while entertaining fans each year. The events is scary and not recommended for those who can't handle a good scare, or children who are not mature enough to understand that it isn't real. It is left to your own discretion to determine if it's appropriate for you and your family, but there are no refunds, says the management.
How it all began several decades ago: It started as a small group of friends with some props in a backyard, but quickly grew to be recognized as one of the most imaginative, award-winning Halloween attractions in the U.S. Pirates of Emerson Haunted Theme Park moved to the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton in 2010.
