San Diego's Annual WCKD what? Great Pumpkin Beer Festival

First it was a Monster Bash, until it became WCKD. After a pandemic, it promised to rise from the dead. Awesome! Will there be a Halloween block party ever again?

Presented by Elysian Brewing, spend a day in the Gaslamp with pumpkin themed brews, live entertainment, twisted experientials, squash-based foodie creations, hidden surprises and more! On the streets of the Gaslamp Quarter will be transformed into a gourd-geous mecca of all things nonsensical as misfits unite to celebrate brews, boos and beats.

Taps will be scattered through the venue with brews popping up in unexpected corners like the Ale Apothecary, Headless Horsemen Hideaway and Jack-O’s Tavern. In the ultimate keg tapping rivers of beer flow straight into your commemorative cup from the over 1000-pound giant pumpkin keg.

Food booths & trucks! Sample squash inspired flavors and vote on your favorite snack like caramelized onion and butternut squash pizza, pumpkin chili, pumpkin cheesecake and more!

Held outdoors in the Gaslamp Quarter, tickets required. This is an age 21+ event with adult themes, alcohol served and $5000 prize for costume contest.

2018: October 27

WCKD (formerly Monster Bash) at Gaslamp, changes its name and website, while keeping a similar format, entertainment and pricing

2019:

Enter a world of immorality at the Annual San Diego WCKD Block Party where haunted souls can run wild, rules can be broken and sinners can live freely on Halloween. San Diego's biggest Halloween Block Party returns and will be unleashed on the Gaslamp Quarter and East Village neighborhoods.

Notorious WCKD Costume Contest feature $5,000 cash prize.
