FREE! Join 4,000 Trick or Treaters as they make their way through various stops where there are games and activities, then they receive treats.

Dress up in your best costume for costume contest. Awards given 

• The streets will be closed off so that the trick-or-treaters can make their way safely through games and activities.
• Bring a carved pumpkin for judging and
• Dress up in your best costume for the costume contest!
• Food vendors present.
• The event is highly attended with 3,000 children anticipated each year.

 The City of Upland Scary-A-Faire in Historic Downtown Upland hosts a family-friendly event that will include games, pumpkin decorating, costume judging contests (for your dog, too) and of course...trick-or-treating!

Monster Mash-Up Movie Night & Costume Parade

Nightmare Before Christmas movie begins at 7 p.m. Bring blankets and low lawn chairs to get cozy for the movie.

 Enjoy fun, games & crafts, treats & candy, food vendors, children's costume parade, photo opportunities, and a 7 p.m. movie. The children's costume parade takes place at 6 p.m. Participants  meet at Park Site B located along 15th Street at 5:50 p.m. for the parade line-up. It's sure to be a graveyard smash! Don't forget to bring blankets and/or low lawn chairs to get cozy for the movie.

Food vendors at movie night 2024:

• Smokin' Rubens BBQ.
• Fat Boy Tacos + quesadillas, burritos, tortas, and mulitas.
• Delia's Mini Pancakes  Halloween-themed mini pancakes & crepes.
• The Cookie Jar  gourmet homemade cookies.
• Sweet Chilitos chamoy and freeze-dried candy.
• Sunshine's Lemonade  Halloween-themed fresh smashed lemonade.

Dogtoberfest People & Dog Costume Contest

Bring your four-legged friends for a howling good time with a Canine Costume Contest, activities, photo booth, DJ and fun for the family. This FUNdraising event is FREE to the public (no admission) and dogs on 6-foot leashes and cats in secure carriers are welcome.

• Group Thriller dance
• Police K-9 demonstrations
• Car/vehicle show with audience voting and prizes for best decorations
