HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIF. -- You don't realize the enormity of this marathon event till you stand on a set of stairs and look down on the crowds who have completed the marathon and gathered at vendor expo where, trophies and prizes are awarded, foods are eaten, things are handed out to runners as samples, and athletes can purchase shoes, running gear and other items that vendors happen to be selling.

The vendor expo is located near the race's starting line at Pacific Coast Highway between Beach Blvd. and Huntington Street. The tents are set up in public (city) beach parking lots between the sand beaches and the Coast Highway street. The expo is the two-day event that spans Saturday and Sunday, while all runs only take place on Sunday.
