Melting Pot Food Tours was founded by sisters Lisa & Diane Scalia, both Los Angeles area natives and life-long residents. Together, they have created a variety of offerings which reflect their passion for all things related to food and the culinary arts.

Old Pasadena tasting tour explores the streets of Green, Union, Holly, and DeLacey, the avenues of Fair Oaks and Raymond, as well as Colorado Boulevard. Colorful alleys and secret thru-ways will spice up the path to spectacular ethnic eateries and sweets havens for tastings! Some of the tastes have included Middle Eastern, Asian, Peruvian, Oaxacan, an authentic Italian gelato counter, a tea bar and emporium, an exquisite chocolatier and an olive oil specialty store.

Farmers Market & Third Street epicurean stroll from the famous Farmers Market at Fairfax Avenue to the stylish Beverly Center at La Cienega Blvd. includes ethnic eateries with Japanese, French, and Brazilian; New York style deli/bakery; doughnut shop; Handmade candy kitchen; and a European style bakery.

LA Latin Spice Tasting Food Tour begins near downtown Los Angeles with well-deserved focus on Mariachi Plaza, the grand centerpiece of the neighborhood. Starting with breakfast, guests are treated to traditional handmade foods, some of which originated south of our border over 100 years ago! Visit LA's first tortilla factory, a nationally-renowned tamale restaurant, LA's first birrieria, a health-conscious pupuseria and a contemporary Latina café.
