You are invited to commemorate Memorial Day at the oldest military cemetery on the West Coast (1840s) in Benicia.
A special dedication to our World War II veterans, a few of whom are
planning to attend, Color Guard by VFW and American Legion Benicia posts,
Keynote speaker Col. Lawrence T. Brown, Garrison Commander, Presidio of
Monterey
Rifle salute by the Military History Preservation Society,
and a special fly-over by the 60th Air Mobility Wing-Travis Air Force Base.
Free Soltrans shuttle begins at 7:45 a.m. from the City Park at First &
Military West to the Military Cemetery.
