The City of Mission Viejo pays homage to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country during its annual Memorial Day Ceremony. As with year's past, the 3-foot by 9-foot American Heroes Tribute Banners honoring veterans who have lost their lives in combat are on display throughout the Civic Center walkway and The Kershaw Garden. The banners honoring American soldiers killed in Afghanistan and Iraq are on display mid-May through June 2, 2023.
The City's Special Needs Adaptive Programming initiative means there will be increased handicapped parking and seating for people with physical limitations. The event can also be seen in a live broadcast on Cox Channel 30 and AT&T Channel 99. Sign language interpretation for the hearing-impaired is also planned.
Events are not guaranteed. It is your responsibility to confirm before going.
