Formal Ceremony includes military dignitaries, veteran speakers, and music. Following the ceremony, the Presidio Chapel Observance includes a concert. But it will require reservations to attend.

Following a Memorial Day Observance at the National Cemetery 11-12 p.m., the Interfaith Center at the Presidio Chapel will have a Meditative Organ Concert featuring resident organist Reverend James Parrish Smith.

 Presidio Trust, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the City of San Francisco invite you to be part of the official City and County of San Francisco 150+ years Memorial Day Observance.

Soldiers from the Presidio have participated in every commemoration of Memorial Day since its inception as a national observance in 1868. It is the largest Memorial Day commemoration event on the West Coast.
