The City of Solana Beach and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5431 host Memorial Day Ceremony at the Veterans' Memorial

The ceremony  includes

• Speaker Collin Farrar, Mira Mesa High School student, shares poignant reflections 
• Camp Pendleton Young Marines our honor guard
• Solana Beach Mayor Lesa Heebner
• Julian Gonzales, Post Commander for VFW Post 5431 remarks
• Santa Fe Christian School Band  patriotic melodies,
• Feathers from Heaven dove release, orchestrated by Joe and Leslie Irwin, symbolizing peace and  everlasting memory of  fallen heroes
• Light refreshments will be served after service

Docents from the Civic and Historical Society conduct tours of the Historical Museum.
