Sign up for a 50 yard or 500 yard swim. The short course doesn't require getting your hair wet. Registration starts at 11 a.m.

 Sponsored by Southern California Aquatics (SCAQ), Venice Penguin Swim Club invites the public to meet at Breakwater, at the end of Windward, every January 1st and greet the New Year with a Big Splash!  Sign up starts at 11 am on the beach.  The first man and woman to complete a 500-yard swim around a buoy and back will be crowned the Penguin Prince and Princess.

Venice Breakwater. Sign up at 11am at the beach, swim starts at noon. Certificates to all finishers, snacks and hot drinks available courtesy of The Sidewalk Café. Volunteers are usually needed to help with set up and registration.
