OAKLAND: Raiders Week September 7-13, 2015

Raiders Week arrived in Oakland, California on Labor Day 2015 with much fanfare. Throughout the week guests and locals are invited to a variety of fun appearances and event a 5K stadium run which includes getting a ticket to a Raiders game. Here are some things going on around Raiders Town:

  • Every AC Transit bus headers read GO RAIDERS!”
  • Raiders flag flies at Oakland City Hall and the Tribune Tower
  • Ambassadors in Uptown, Downtown, and Jack London Square wear Raiders hats
  • Frontline staff at Oakland hotels wear Raiders hats and pins
  • Cheer cards are free at Visit Oakland Visitor Center
  • Social media fans use #RAIDERSWEEK15

SCHEDULE OF RAIDERS WEEK EVENTS

Monday, Sept. 7, 2015 Raider Rusher Birthday Party at The Oakland Zoo: In celebration of youth ambassador Rusher's 2nd birthday, join the Raider family at the zoo.

Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015, 4 p.m. Press Conference & Youth Football Clinic at East Bay Asian Youth Center: A $200,000 field grant on the campus of Oakland's Elmhurst Community Prep School is followed by a youth football camp on the existing field.

Wednesday, Sept. 9 - Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015: Head for the On Location Booth at Pier 35 to meet Raider Marcel Reece, Raiders alumni Willie Brown, Lorenzo Neal, Cliff Branch, Jim Plunkett, Fred Biletnikoff, Ted Hendricks, and Raymond Chester sign autographs. Raiderettes and Raider Rusher interact with fans and take photos.

Friday, Sept. 11. 2015: Oakland Raiders & Raiderettes visit Police and Fire Stations Partner Bureau first responders of Oakland with visits to both police and fire stations around Oakland.

Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, 9 a.m. at O.co Coliseum: Back to Football 5K and Kids Run. All participants get a Raiders shirt and commemorative finisher's item. 5K runners also receive a ticket to a Raiders home game! Register at csewest.com/raiders-run

Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015, 1:25 p.m. at O.co Coliseum: Raiders Home Opener vs. Cincinnati Bengals kicks off the season.
