marchers, this emotionally charged experience, gathers together a colorful and
diverse look at our creative community showcasing all that is great about the
TLGB community. Attendees should plan to arrive early. Traffic will be closed on
Santa Monica Blvd. between Fairfax Ave. and Doheny Dr. starting at 6:00 a.m.
on Sunday, June 9. Santa Monica Blvd. will re-open immediately at the end of the
end of the Parade, which may be as late as 4:00 p.m.

Location: The parade begins at the Hillcrest Pride Flag at University Avenue and
Normal Street, proceeds west on University Avenue to 6th Avenue, turns
south on 6th Avenue, ending at Balboa Drive and Upas Street.
Route Length: 1.1 miles
Cost: This is a free community event.
The annual San Diego LGBT Pride Parade is the 4th largest in the United States
attracting over 300,000 cheering spectators, supportive organizations,
businesses, and significant media participation.

(children five and under are free) and is located on Capitol
