Celebrating this annual fun event, the Redondo Beach 44th Annual Super Bowl Sunday 10K/5K Run/Walk welcomes the biggest day in sports at picturesque Redondo Beach. Participants often dress up in costumes to make the event more fun. The route goes past the Historic Redondo Beach Pier, the Marina in King Harbor and the Wyland whale mural, three of the city's beach highlights. Enjoy ocean breezes during a run, walk, or stroll in the Redondo Beach Super Bowl Sunday 10K Run, 5K Run/Walk or Baby Buggy 10K.

You are encouraged to avoid the race day rush by picking up your packet on Saturday. You can pick up your race packet, T-shirt and bib number on Saturday. Health & Fitness Expo located in the Seaside Lagoon adjacent to the Start Line.

Redondo Beach Super Bowl Sunday 10K/5K Run/Walk and Costume Contest. The annual run takes place on an oceanfront course, attracting more than 10,000 runners & walkers to Southern California 's greatest Super Bowl Celebration!

There will also be a costume contest that is a big hit every year! Participants and guests can also enjoy great food, beverages and a variety of running accessories at the 2-day Health & Fitness Expo. Start your Super Bowl Sunday on a healthy, fun and festive note and finish in plenty of time to enjoy America 's Classic - Super Bowl!

All runners will receive a custom Anniversary Shirt; Custom awards will be presented to the top three male & female finishers in each category; Asahi Beer Garden , 2 beers per person 21 and over (while supplies last); Live music.

Another event held on the same day approx. 30 miles south in Orange County was the Surf City Marathon in Huntington Beach. In 2022, it is not held on Super Bowl Sunday, however.
