Big Bear City Renaissance Faire is one of many such Renaissance faires in California throughout the year. Set during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I, the faire is an authentic re-creation of an English Summer Faire where you can experience the spirit of the days of William Shakespeare and the Renaissance!

Colorful costumes, fyne foods, vendors and re-enactments bring an era of history to life in this event that so fits its surroundings of pine-forested San Bernardino mountains.

It features Queen Elizabeth's Royal Court, Knights Jousting on Horseback, Archery Tournament, Live Steel Battle, Living History Encampments & Demonstrations, Ethnic Food & Drink, Belly Dancers, Jugglers, Musicians & Singers, Midsummer Fairy Forest Children's Area.
