Boysenberry products

Would Walter Knott, the fantastic promoter and first successful grower of a new fruit named after his inventor friend, Rudolph Boysen, roll in his grave at what has become of boysenberry products that bare the family name?

The Knott's empire sold off a theme park and food brand  that included berry jams, preserves and syrups to a large food conglomerate known for its use of high fructose corn syrup to make processed foods, often containing GMOs (genetically modified organisms).

High fructose corn syrup, typically a GMO food ingredient is an ingredient in  Knott's Berry Farm  jams & preserves from Smucker's,  who purchased the brand from corporate giant ConAgra. Included are these  ingredients: "high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, fruit pectin and citric acid".

Smucker's spent close to $1.5 million in Grocery Manufacturers Association, a coalition of food giants (Monsanto, Kraft, Pepsico, Dupont, Bayer, Dow, CocaCola, Nestle, etc.,) to defeat truth in labeling propositions in various states.
