The Recreation Division annual Tamale Festival includes best tamale and best
salsa contests. As in past years, dance performances by local studios,
tamale and other food vendors, craft and other vendors will all be part of
the event. What started as a great holiday tradition in the Hispanic
community was introduced to the City in 2016 as a place to shop for
Christmas tamales. When over 10,000 people came, it was decided that this
event had found home in La Habra and is now an annual festival everyone
looks forward to.
